Notes: One of India’s most promenent artist and acknowledge top Female one (age 75 years born 1946), having organized the first Womens exhibition in the mid 70”s in Bombay. and liberating Hindu women artists, where she lives and works. She is in every UN Headquarters and virtually all important museums in the world. I have chased her for years but work too fragmented. This 2017 is evolution of new work and she has become very political vs former folkloric and mystical styles. In the last 2 years Nalini had solo shows at Pompidou in Paris, Castello di Rivoli in Torino and Foundation Miró in Barcelona. Another show is scheduled at Tate modern in London. So her reputation has and is growng immensely.
